The inside court yard of Jama Masjid. India's largest mosque. Comissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it was completed in the year 1656. Made of red sandstone and white marble, it can hold 25,000 worshippers.

Leaving the mosque we paid 10 rupees to the shoe boy for watching our shoes. It's more than 100 steps down to the street and more than 100 degrees..

Lotus B'hai temple - we wanted to go in but there were about 2,000 people waiting on line to get in. It was 109 degrees.

Oh sure, we are going to remember that number while careening
through traffic!
